Aerogarden petunias

These things are crazy!

The lettuce in the other AG was growing quite tall but I pulled it out because it developed a bitter flavor. I replanted the AG last night with some herbs.

Today I harvested a whole bunch of basil from the raised bed. The basil was getting tall and was starting to flower. I'm trying to hang dry it for the first time. I have a small fan blowing on it too. We'll see how it goes...

Iris / Pickles

2 African Irises have bloomed! I sneaked a quick pic last night!

I managed to get Mam Helen's pickle recipe from my dad! When I packed the jar they smelled so good. That smell takes me back to my childhood when I'd sneak pickles out of Mam and Pap's basement fridge. :-)

Rain!

Rain, rain, and more rain! Next time I go out to the garden, I bet the plants will be huge! They always are after storms. :-)
