Brrr

I wasn't paying attention to the weather lately and my tomatoes, peppers and eggplants did not survive the cold temperatures. Usually I cover these plants with blankets when it gets cold.

Not to worry, though. My carrots, turnips, onions and cabbage are doing great and love this season!

In two weeks I will be starting my spring seeds indoors, and I am looking forward to it!

Salsa!

My boyfriend got me a food processor for Christmas, and I used it to make the salsa!

Outdoor garden

Everything is doing quite well outside. I haven't been able to go outside as much as I'd like because it has been busy due to traveling and the holidays. When I went out there I was delightfully surprised that the turnips and cabbage are thriving. Also the roma tomatoes are doing very well and there are a lot of flowers on the eggplant plants. I even have carrots!

Trees in airports

On a recent trip, I admired the gorgeous Christmas trees in airports, and I wanted to share with all of you.

Yes, those are real poinsettias in pots, arranged to form a tree!  How cool!

Ok, I think I got the photo storage quota issue resolved.   Sooo... check out the micro-toms!
